Downed Power Line Cause of Power Outage

ST. CLOUD - Xcel Energy says a downed power line is the cause of a power outage this (Thursday) morning.

The wire went down on 11th Street North in St. Cloud at about 6:25 a.m.

At it's peak the outage affected nearly 1,700 customers.  Crews are still working to restore power to some of those affected.
