Dorothy Ann Gehrke was born on February 27, 1934 to Arnold and Marie (Trushenski) Gehrke. Dorothy, a life-long resident of Sauk Rapids, married Robert Clitty on August 22, 1953. Robert passed away on August 30, 1992. She later married George Gustin on April 27, 1996. George passed away on May 28, 2014. Before Dorothy retired she worked at the St. Cloud Hospital and St. Cloud School District 742. Dorothy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sauk Rapids where she enjoyed being part of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, Christ Care Group, the church building team and singing praises to Jesus in the choir. Dorothy enjoyed the annual Trushenski Family reunion, her birthday club, crafts and her vast collection of cookbooks and recipes. She, along with her beloved George, loved to cook and entertain family and friends. Dorothy's greatest joy in life was sharing her love of Jesus with everyone. A testimony to her faith can be found in the words of 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. In her final days, she enjoyed her friends and the staff from Ridgeview Assisted Living and Sterling House.

Dorothy leaves her loving memories with her children, Carol Jenniges of Lino Lakes, Alan (Stacy) Clitty of Sartell, Kurt (Cindy) Clitty of Sauk Rapids, Kay Bouzbiba of Orlando, FL, Kathy (Jim) DeZeller of Avon, Dennis (Lori) Gustin of St. Cloud, Michael (Kim) Gustin of Avon, Jodi (David) Wohletz of Holdingford, Rebecca Gustin (Nhat Tran) of St. Cloud and Kimberly Gustin (Noy Sayadeth) of Brooklyn Park; 35 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one expected in the fall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Clitty in 1992 and George Gustin in 2014 and great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Nolan, Reagan and Samuel.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for prayers and friendship to the members of Trinity Lutheran Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church as well as to the St. Cloud Hospital fifth floor south medical staff.

Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, or the American Heart Association.
