Doris Rose Jesh, 87, Albany

May 1, 1927 - November 3, 2016

The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Doris Rose Jesh, age 87 of Albany, will be 11:00 AM, Monday November 7 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Doris died on Thursday at the St. Benedict’s Senior Center in St. Cloud. There will be a visitation after 10:00 AM, Monday at the church in Albany. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes.

Doris was born May 1, 1927 in Albany to Roman and Dora (Winter) Jesh. She has lived her entire life in Albany. She attended the St. Cloud School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in the St. Cloud Hospital, the Melrose Hospital and the Albany Hospital until her parents needed her and she was their loving, committed caregiver for many years. Doris is remembered for welcoming family, friends and neighbors to her home, setting a beautiful table with her rhubarb muffins, Special K Bars and other treats. Doris was a woman of deep faith and prayer, including her daily Rosary. She was a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany and the St. Ann’s Mission.

Doris is survived by her sister, Irene Gleason, Brooklyn Park; her brother, Harold (Annette) Jesh, Maple Grove; and nieces and nephews.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Ray Jesh; her sister, Rita Seitz; brothers-in-law, Ben Seitz and Larry Gleason and her sister-in-law, Donna Jesh.
