Doris M. Raden, 69, Sauk Rapids

November 20, 1945 - March 13, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for Doris M. Raden, age 69, of Sauk Rapids who passed away at her home on Friday, March 13, 2015. Reverend Blane Wasnie, OSB will officiate. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday all at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon. Parish Prayers will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church in Avon. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Doris was born on November 20, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Nicholas and Mary Rose (Skaj) Raden. She grew up in Avon and has resided in Sauk Rapids for the last 11 years. Doris liked to play the piano and organ. She also enjoyed word searches and watching Shirley Temple movies. She loved attending her day program, “A Home For A Day.”

She is survived by her extended family; and her caregivers at Generations Home Care.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David.

Memorials are preferred and will be donated to local charities.
