ST.CLOUD -- After a six year hiatus Dong Khanh has re-opened in their new location along 33rd Avenue South in St. Cloud next to the former Wal-Mart building.

The Chinese restaurant was previously located in the downtown area along St. Germain Street.

They closed down after being open for 17 years due to frustrations with construction projects in the area.

The owners have made some changes to their dining area. Owner, Duc Nguyen says it's no longer an all-you-can-eat buffet style restaurant.

The menu will feature some of the same items they had on their previous menu like sesame chicken, pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with a few new items.

The cooking style has transformed from the traditional wok method to sauté.

Nguyen says the change helps the food cook more evenly. The business is open during lunch and dinner hours.
