Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Church of God in Eden Valley for Donald D. Albright, age 91, of Paynesville who passed away at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud on Thursday. Rev. Ann Fishbacher will officiate and burial will be in Old Eden Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. The Wat-Kim-Valley VFW post 5640 will pray at 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home.

Donald was born November 29, 1924 to Arlo and Evelyn (Isaacson) Albright in Litchfield. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. Donald was in the Pacific Theatre and continued his service as part of the Occupation Forces in Japan. On April 7, 1949 Donald married the love of his life, Virginia Lynn Coulter at the Church of God in Eden Valley. He worked all of his life as a farmer. He was a member of the Wat-Kim-Valley VFW post 5640. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. He was honest, strong willed and worked very hard for everything he had. Hard work was of great importance to him which was something that he instilled in his family. Donald loved spending time with his family especially, his grandchildren.

Donald is survived by his sons, Barry (Julann) of Paynesville, Allen (Laurie) of Hawley; grandchildren, Aaron (Vanessa), Jena, Jill, Courtney, and Megan; and brother, Douglas (Marvilyn) of Huron, SD. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia in 1988; and sister, Eleanor.
