NEW BRIGHTON -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is holding a meeting Thursday about the walleye reproduction on Lake Mille Lacs.

DNR officials are inviting residents, business owners and anglers to the meeting to hear a presentation, ask questions and offer suggestions.

The meeting called "Hooked on Mille Lacs: On the Road" will be held at the New Brighton Community Center at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 28th.

The DNR says the meeting is part of a bigger plan to connect with the community more often to share fish population information, research findings and the rationale for fish management decisions.

The meeting is free and open to everyone.
