The DNR is hiring watercraft inspector interns for the upcoming boating season to help fight against invasive aquatic species.

Inspectors will be stationed at public access points on lakes and river in order to spot and report invasive species like Zebra Mussels and Eurasian watermilfoil. They'll also educate the public on these invasive species and how they impact our environment.

The internships are full-time and there are openings in St. Cloud. They begin in late April and run through the  middle of October. Applicants need to have a current MN driver's license and be enrolled in a natural resources educational program.
