DNR Reminds Anglers of Deadline to Remove Fish Houses
UNDATED — The deadline to get your fish house off the ice is fast approaching.
For the southern two-thirds of Minnesota, the deadline to have your ice house removed is no later than midnight, March 4th.
he DNR’s Rich Sprouse says they ask you to make sure to clean up all garbage and debris. He says they ask you to leave the area in the same pristine condition as when you found it. It is illegal to burn down or destroy your fish house and leave remnants on the ice.
The deadline for ice houses north of a line from Fargo to Duluth is March 18th.
