Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota, I have spent over 50 years in the radio biz. First job was at KTRF Radio Thief River Falls, MN. I have also worked in Brainerd and the Twin Cities at KANO/KTWN and KRSI and worked twice in the St. Cloud Radio market spanning about 30 years. I can truly say radio has been my window on the world. I am the father of a son and daughter and have two beautiful granddaughters. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and spending time with family
I'm proud to be the host of the WJON Morning News Watch. The toughest part of the job might be getting up at 4am but when the clock strikes 5 the Magic happens. I spend most of my time searching for both valuable information and meaningless stuff. My two kids keep me busy with both frustration and pride. I'm from Princeton, Minnesota! Go Tigers! I've lived all over the place; Wisconsin, Tennessee and Kentucky , pursuing my broadcasting and musical dreams. I attended college at Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcasting. I have a passion for music. I've been a pianist, singer and songwriter since I was 13. My album, "When Love Comes Knockin," features original material. I have had the privilege of interviewing great entertainers all over the country, including Jenny McCarthy, from the cast of "The Walking Dead", "Dancing With The Stars," "Duck Dynasty," and "The Voice," and many other entertainers
