ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Area school board has narrowed their options in an effort to alleviate overcrowding at Madison Elementary.

Superintendent Bruce Watkins says they had nine options on the table and have reduced that down to three.

Watkins says the third option is to go to larger class sizes.

The district has already moved the Madison 6th graders over to North Junior High, and they've closed open enrollment into that school.

Enrollment at Madison Elementary has increased by 200 students over the past two years.
