ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud area voters will be going to the polls again this fall to decide on whether to build a new Tech High School and upgrade Apollo High School.

The special election ballot will have two questions. The first asks for $104.5 million for a new Tech High School on 33rd Street South. The second question asks for $38.75 million to repair, renovate and upgrade Apollo High School.

Question one would need to pass in order for question two to pass.

The District 742 school board approved creating a special election during their Thursday night meeting. Voters will be heading to the polls on November 8th.

Last year, voters in the St. Cloud area school district voted down a $167 million referendum that included $113.8 million for a new Tech, $46.5 million for Apollo upgrades and $6.7 million for district security and technology upgrades.
