ST. CLOUD - Teachers in the St. Cloud Area school district are making house calls this year.  The district plans to use home visits as one way to increase parental involvement.  More individual conference time and more one-on-one phone calls can also be expected.

Assistant Superintendent Julia Espe says they plan to track their efforts throughout the year.

Espe says they've increased their family contact time from 14 hours up to 21 hours for the staff this school year.
