District 742 Sees Enrollment Increase

ST. CLOUD - Enrollment is up in the St. Cloud area school district. Total enrollment this school year is at 10,147, which is 286 students more than they had last year. However, it is still fewer students than they had in 2014 and 2015.

Enrollment is up slightly at both Tech and Apollo high school. Tech has 1,537 students. Apollo has 1,429 students.

There's also a slight increase in grades K through 6th. Total enrollment at the elementary schools is 4,753. There is enrollment increases at:  Lincoln, Oak Hill, Talahi, Westwood, at the 6th grade at South. There is a decline in enrollment at: Clearview, Discovery, Kennedy, Madison, at the 6th grade at North.

Junior high enrollment is up at Kennedy and South, but down at North.
