District 742 Board Hears Plan for New Scoreboards at Apollo

ST. CLOUD - The Apollo football field could soon be getting a new scoreboard.

The school board will hear a plan tonight (Wednesday) from the "Apollo Scoreboard Project LLC".  They would create advertising displays on the scoreboards and kiosks, which would pay for their total costs of $350,000.

The school board would have the final say on what types of ads could be displayed.

The scoreboard being used at the football field now is over 30 years old, and originally came from Clemens Stadium at Collegeville.
