ST. CLOUD - GREAT Children's Theatre presents Mulan Jr. The play is based on the Disney film, Mulan, which is based on an ancient Chinese legend. Aimee Miron, and Jon Legg are co-directors for the production. They both agree the show has been coming along fantastic.

Miron says, "From a director's stand point, we just couldn't be more excited. Jon, and I have been coming to these rehearsals the last few days, and the energy just keep building, and building."

"We had our cast ready last week," says Legg, "This week is really about the technical side of it, practicing the lights, and the set. Things have just gone great. We're ahead of schedule, and it's just going fantastic."

Eden Garman is part of the cast playing Mulan. She says it's been a lot of work preparing for the role, but it's been a lot of fun as well.

"It's a lot of fun because people know the character. You can watch the movie, and take things from that character to add to the stage yourself," says Eden.

The co-directors say Eden, the rest of the cast, and the set are ready.

"Everybody's eager, and excited, and ready to share our show," says Miron.

"We keep referring to our set as a pop-up book. It looks like you just opened the pages, and it shoots right out at you. It looks amazing," says Legg

Eden is excited for opening night, and to perform a few of her favorite scenes.

I really enjoy the soldier scenes. Especially A Girl Worth Fighting For because it just brings a lot of fun to the stage," says Eden, "and also the avalanche scene because there's some fun special effects."
