Despite High Water, Anton’s Staying Dry

WAITE PARK -- The Sauk River is flowing over it's banks, but so far Anton's Restaurant has not been affected.

Owner Patti Gaetz says, even though they have water in part of their parking lot, the restaurant is open and is staying dry.  In fact, she says they have a great viewpoint of the high water.

The river is expected to crest at about 6.6 feet next week.  Gaetz says it would have to reach 7 1/2 feet before water would get inside the building.
