Despite High Temps, Ski Slopes Show Promise, Attract Business [AUDIO]

KIMBALL – As you well know, we’re up against some record-high temperatures for the beginning of January. While snow on the ground may be sparse, the ski slopes are still drawing in winter enthusiasts.

Jerry Wahlin is the owner and general manager of Powder Ridge in Kimball. He says the weather has actually been solid for business.

Wahlin says they’re able to make snow as long as the temperature drops below freezing.

Powder Ridge is located on Highway 15 outside of Kimball.
