Deputy, Man Hurt in Gas Station Shooting in Norwood Young America

NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA (AP) - Carver County sheriff's officials say an off-duty deputy and a man have been injured in a shooting at a gas station in Norwood Young America.

Both are expected to survive their injuries. Authorities say the deputy is from McLeod County and the other person is in his 20s.

Officials say the shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. Friday in the parking lot of a Kwik Trip gas station, which is closed as investigators work the scene.
