ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly having marijuana with the intent to sell. A Benton County Sheriff's deputy stopped and arrested 22-year-old Dominique Chaney at about 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Quebecor Road and 10th Street Northeast.

The deputy detected the odor of pot coming from the vehicle, and saw what appeared to be marijuana flakes on Chaney's shirt.

The deputy conducted a search of Chaney’s vehicle. The deputy located a small amount of marijuana in the center console along with a gram scale. The deputy also found two potato chip cans which had false bottoms. Inside these cans were 38 packages of marijuana, all of which were packaged into amounts commonly sold to users of controlled substances.
