Deputies Investigation Several Thefts From Vehicles

ST. STEPHEN -- The Stearns County Sheriff's office is investigating several thefts in the area this past week.

On Wednesday, deputies received reports that money and paperwork from a bank account were taken from a vehicle in the 41800 block of County Road 1 in Brockway Township.

Earlier today (Friday) two other thefts were reported in St. Stephen. Deputies say two Ipods, several power tools, cash and two handguns were taken from a vehicle at 5th Avenue NE, and money was stolen from a vehicle at Marie Court.

Several other cars were also gone through with nothing reported to be missing.

Deputies say all the vehicles were unlocked at the time of the thefts.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is reminding you that vehicles left outside overnight should have valuables removed or hidden and the doors locked.

The only suspect description deputies have is a man wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
