Deputies Arrest Man Found Asleep Behind the Wheel

BALDWIN TOWNSHIP – The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Department woke a sleeping man and arrested him for alleged drug possession.

Deputies found 46-year-old Anthony Ross of Princeton sleeping in his pick-up, in the middle of the road.  The vehicle wasn’t running and the keys were not in the ignition.

They allegedly found a glass pipe in the cup holder, 1.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a number of prescription pills not prescribed to Ross, and $200 cash.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m. yesterday (Thursday) in Baldwin Township.
