Dennis James Rieder, age 64, Sartell, MN died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his home in Sartell.

A time of remembrance will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of remembrance.

Dennis was born October 28, 1950 in St. Cloud, MN to Norbert M. and Margaret “Peggy” (Varner) Rieder. He was employed by a gas service company and then worked for several golf courses in the St. Cloud area. Dennis loved all sports and was an avid fan of NASCAR.

Survivors include a son, Jeff (Jessica) Rieder of St. Cloud, MN; daughter, Miranda Rieder of Albany, MN; brother and sisters, Jim (Jan) Rieder of New Hope, MN; Pat Rein of Sartell, MN; Dannielle (Bill) Manthey of Brooklyn Park, MN; two grandsons; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Mitzie and Bebe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Rieder, and nephew, Joseph Manthey.

Memorials are preferred.
