Dennis D. Lund, Becker, 69

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Becker for Dennis D. Lund, 69 of Becker who passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital on Monday. Rev. Dick Wehrs will officiate and burial will be at Summit Cemetery in Morris. Friends and relatives may visit from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker and also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday morning.

Dennis Duane Lund was born on May 18, 1945 in Madison, MN to Joseph and Cora (Tofte) Lund. Dennis was baptized and confirmed at Minnesota Valley Lutheran Church, Louisburg, MN. He was a 1963 graduate of Appleton High School and attended North Dakota State College of Science. He was married to La Vonne Wickham on June 26, 1993 in Louisburg, MN. Dennis has lived in the Becker area since 1996 and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was a farmer and retired in 2013. Farming was his life from the day he was born; continuing the third generation of farming in Louisburg. He was a collector of John Deere memorabilia, enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his loving wife, La Vonne of Becker; children, Jackie (Adam) McKelvey of Abilene, TX, Shawn (Julie) Wickham of Becker and Heidi (Steve Brumbaugh) Wickham of Becker; siblings, Janice Holman of Quartzsite, AZ and David (Antje) of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amanda, Shaun, Kevin, Kayla, Dylan, Stephanie, Nicholas and Michelle and great granddaughter, Isabella. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Daniel and daughter-in-law, Renee.

Memorials are preferred to the American Lung Association.
