Dennis A. Larson, 68, Watkins

September 17, 1947 - March 14, 2016

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Dennis A. Larson, age 68, who passed away Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be at Eden Lake Cemetery in Eden Valley. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church in Eden Valley.

Dennis was born Sept. 17, 1947 in Benson to Leslie & Irene (Peterson) Larson. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dennis married Dolores Ludwig on Aug. 14, 1972 in St. Cloud. He farmed and also worked at Custom Products in Litchfield for 14 years. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, playing cards, fishing, watching western movies, and going for drives. He was a kind and gentle person who would want to be remembered as being a family man.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores of Eden Valley; children, Peggy of St. Cloud, Steve (Ann) of Paynesville, Denise (fiancé Shawn Wellman) of Eden Valley, Bruce (Rachel) of Eden Valley, Holly (fiancé Jason Arrenholz) of Sartell, and Todd (Heidi) of Mandan, ND; siblings, Leslie Jr. (Bev) of Kimball, Leroy of Alexandria, David of Wisconsin, Ronnie (Barb) of Benson, Roger (Patricia) of Stillwater, Eileen (Glen) Friedrich of St. James, Kenny of Hopkins, Kevin of Redwood Falls, Larry of Colorado, Randy of Benson, and Donna (Gary) Olson of Dassel; and 12 grandchildren. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Keith; and granddaughters, Jade Wellman and Aimee Larson.
