Defunct Minnesota Company Settles Federal Labor Lawsuit
OAKDALE, Minn. (AP) - A Minnesota company that provided cable equipment recovery services to cable providers will pay $350,000 to 41 workers to resolve a federal Labor Department lawsuit.
The agency says Oakdale-based Cable Equipment Services Inc. violated federal overtime, minimum wage and record-keeping requirements.
The company went out of business a year ago. A telephone listing for the company is not in service.
