PINE CITY (AP) - Pine County sheriff's officials are calling in specialists to help with the discovery of human remains.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, a state archaeologist and a forensic anthropologist are assisting with the investigation.

The remains were found Monday at a construction site near Pine City. Sheriff's deputies say the remains have been at that location for several decades. Authorities are trying to determine whether the location is a historical burial site or something else. The remains are being removed from the site Tuesday.
