ST. PAUL (AP) - Gov. Mark Dayton and legislative leaders say they're tentatively planning a special session for the third week of August, but they haven't worked out final details.

Their announcement Friday comes after a morning meeting to go over areas of disagreement.

The biggest items on the docket are a $1 billion package of public construction projects, and a $260 million tax relief bill. Lawmakers failed to agree on the public construction bill before the session ended, and a tax relief bill fell apart because of a drafting error.
