Darlene Primus, 54, St. Cloud

October 30, 1961 - August 4, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Christ Church Newman Center in St. Cloud for Darlene A. Primus, age 54, who completed her journey with us and began the next one Thursday at Quiet Oaks Hospice House. Rev. Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Church Newman Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.

Darlene was born Oct. 30, 1961 in Little Falls to Alcuin & Lorayne (Winter) Primus. She married Chuck Heisick on June 8, 1985 at Christ Church Newman Center. Darlene taught 5th Grade for 27 years in the St. Cloud School District. She was a member of Christ Church Newman Center. Darlene was a beautiful, graceful, and courageous woman with a million dollar smile. She was practical and organized, always taking one step at a time. Darlene was the rock of the family and always let her family know how much she loved them. She was very wise and extremely intelligent.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Chuck Heisick of St. Cloud; children, Kaitlyn of Minneapolis, Adam of Minneapolis, and Erin of St. Cloud; mother, Lorayne Primus of Sartell; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Primus of Little Falls, Joseph (Shirley) Primus of Bowlus, Steven Primus of Swanville, Mary Kay (Richard) Schmit of Fargo, ND, Robert (Kim) Primus of Holdingford, Daniel (Joni) Primus of Swanville, Jeffrey (DeAnna) Primus of Swanville, Patrick (Mary) Primus of Maple Lake, William (Kristin) Primus of Swanville, and Susan Feliciano of St. Cloud; and sister-in-law, Nancy Primus of Flensburg. Darlene was preceded in death by her father, Alcuin; and brother, Thomas Primus.
