ST. JOSEPH - The College of Saint Benedict will formally welcome Mary Hinton as the 15th president during an inauguration on Sunday.

A series of events will lead up to Hinton's inauguration. There will be an illuminated run and party for students, staff and families at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, visitors can watch the Grammy Award winning Okee Dokee Brothers at 10:00 a.m.

There will also be a BBQ afterwards on the Mall rom 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The day will continue with a Saint John's football game against Concordia-Moorhead at Clemens Stadium.

On Saturday night there will be student musical performances and s'mores from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Hinton's inauguration ceremony will start at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday in the Sacred Heart Chapel, Saint Benedict's Monastery. The installation ceremony will be at 2:00 p.m. in Escher Auditorium at the Benedicta Arts Center.

Hinton became the 15th president of CSB on July 1st.
