CSB Celebrates A New Tradition With Over 3,000 Twinkling Lights

ST. JOSEPH – Students and faculty huddled together outside at the College of St. Benedict this evening (Tuesday) to celebrate a new tradition, the lighting of an outdoor tree.
This tree stands out from all of the rest not only because it stands 35 feet high, but rather it’s illuminated with over 3,200 lights.
Student Development vice president, Mary Geller says the college wanted to bring back some of the rituals the campus used to have.
