ST.JOSEPH/COLLEGEVILLE - The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University were once again highly ranked in national liberal arts colleges by U.S. News and World Report Magazines.

Saint John's tied for 73rd and Saint Ben's tied for 89th among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the magazines 2015 rankings.

Both schools improved by several spots from their rankings last year.

A total of 249 liberal arts colleges were ranked.

The magazine also listed Saint John's University in a tie for sixth on the "Up-and-Coming" list of schools.

Saint Ben's and Saint John's were also recognized with 28 other institutions for the quality of their study abroad program.
