Crashes Snarling Traffic in St. Cloud

Hwy 23/Lincoln Ave Truck Crash
Ahsli Gerdes, WJON News

ST. CLOUD — A number of crashes in the St. Cloud area have police and towing crews scrambling to keep roads clear.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says crashes at Highway 23 and Lincoln Avenue this morning closed westbound Highway 23 and southbound Lincoln Avenue for awhile this morning. The road has since re-opened.

Also, a semi-truck is either stalled or was involved in a crash on Highway 10 North of St. Germain Street.

A tow truck is clearing the scene, but traffic is backed up well to the south, possibly as far as Clear Lake.

A crash has also been reported at Highway 15 and 8th Street North. Northbound Highway 15 from 3rd Street is shut down.
