ST. CLOUD - A restaurant is moving into the former Electric Fetus building in downtown St. Cloud. "7 West Taphouse" specializes in quick-speed burgers and craft beers.

Co-owner Ray Harrington says they'll be serving food from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.

We think that there might be some potential to get some of those people who might be hungry after bar close. We're not really focusing in on the college-type business, but we're maybe going to make some ground late at night.

Harrington is also part owner of the Boulder Taphouse, and has been involved in the Grizzley's franchise for years. He says they're anxious to open a business in downtown St. Cloud.

Downtown is changing a little bit. It's getting to be a little more adult-friendly. Kind of a re-birth. And, we just want to be a part of it. We think there's a lot of opportunity, and we want to be a part of the whole program going on down there.

The former Electric Fetus Building on 5th Avenue in downtown St. Cloud is being gutted and transformed into a restaurant.

All the way down to the bare walls. We want to get the classic look of an old downtown building. That one is perfect for it because it's got the old Chicago-style brick, and tin ceiling, and that kind of stuff.

It will seat about 60-70 people at a time.

Harrington says they're waiting on a building permit right now, but they're hoping to be open by late September or early October.

They also have a 7 West Taphouse in Duluth.

The Electric Fetus closed in downtown St. Cloud in May of 2014.
