Cori Rakotz

Cori was God’s child from the start and on June 25th, he called her home unexpectedly.

Cori was born to LeRoy and Ruth Rakotz on February 10, 1960 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Cori had many loves in her life. She loved the Vikings and never missed a game. She loved animals, black olives and her “Chino” coffee. Cori’s real love was her family. Whether it was sitting around a camp fire or in the back yard, she was happiest around family. Cori had an infectious giggle and loved to play jokes on people. She was a caring, loving, happy person. When Cori loved something, she loved with all her heart.
There is no way to fill the void for us but God is very fortunate to have an angel like her by his side.

Cori is survived by her parents LeRoy and Ruth Rakotz (St. Cloud); her siblings: Pamela Rakotz (St. Cloud), Amelia Wolf ( Crystal) and Charlene (Jeff) Stromwall (St. Augusta); her nephew and nieces: Christopher Stromwall, Brittany Rakotz, Natasha Rakotz; her grand-niece and grand-nephew: Caitlin and Justin; and her special friends: Melissa and Dave Frieze.

Special thanks to: Life one Transport, St. Cloud Hospital staff and Dr. Backes for their efforts to save our dear Cori.

Also, special thanks to all the staff at the Supported living home in Spicer for the love and care they gave Cori all these years.

The family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate and remember Cori's life.
