Convention Center Goes Green For Sustainability Expo

ST. CLOUD — The River’s Edge Convention Center is going green tomorrow (Sunday) for the 2013 Sustainability Expo.

From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. over 100 exhibits including the Minnesota Zoo, Science Museum of Minnesota and Great Lakes Aquarium will be on display to showcase sustainable lifestyle solutions.

Former WCCO TV reporter, Don Shelby is the featured speaker.

St. Cloud Mayor, Dave Kleis is scheduled to hold a Tall Hall meeting at the event for people to discuss city issues and concerns.

Over 20 food vendors will offer free samples of local organically grown foods. Kids can enjoy art, nature and animal activities.

The event is free and open to the public.
