Congressional Map up in the Air as Big Election Year Looms [AUDIO]

UNDATED – Next year is a big election year, but who you’ll be voting for remains a big question mark.
The lines for all eight of Minnesota’s Congressional districts, as well as all of the State Senate and House districts still need to be drawn.
The Chair of the non partisan Citizens Redistricting Committee Candy Walz was on WJON this (Monday) morning. She says their group is using four guiding principals to draw the maps.

Walz” group is giving their recommendations to a state judicial panel. That panel is expected to make their final decision in February.
The district lines have to be redrawn every 10 years, after the census is completed, to ensure each district has a similar number of residents.
