“Cone Castle” Open for Business in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH - Have you ever had pizza, a cheeseburger or a caesar salad in a cone? You can now at "Cone Castle" a new restaurant in St. Joseph opening on Monday.

The one-of-a-kind, walk-up business offers a whole menu of different types of foods and desserts served inside cone-shaped bread.

Aaron Holthaus is the owner of Cone Castle. He said the mission was to create an "old-fashioned, small town ice cream shop with a twist."  The concept, Holthaus say, has been popular in other states and overseas, so they were excited to introduce it for the first time here in central Minnesota.

During the past year, the Cone Castle team partnered with a class at St. Cloud Technical and Community College to build the concept and design the look of the building and logo.

Cone Castle is located at 118 1st Street Northwest in St. Joseph.

They'll be open every day from 10a.m. to 10 p.m.
