Cold Spring Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Federal Prison
DULUTH - A Federal court judge has sentenced a Cold Spring man to 10-years in prison.
Thirty-seven-year old Tomas Marquez pleaded guilty back in December to one count of being in possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell, and one count of possession of a firearm by an illegal alien.
In September of last year officers found several packages of methamphetamine, totaling about 900 grams, in his Cold Spring trailer house. They also found a .22 caliber revolver, ammunition, a digital scale, packaging materials, and over $4,600 in cash.
