Cold Spring Man Indicted on Drug, Firearms Charges
COLD SPRING - Authorities say an illegal alien living in Cold Spring has been indicted in federal court on drug and firearms charges.
Thirty-six year old Tomas Hermosillo Marquez was arrested on September 21st when officers executed a search warrant at his trailer home.
Police allegedly found several packages of suspected methamphetamine in the closet of the master bedroom, about four ounces of suspected meth on the floor, a .22 caliber revolver and ammunition, a digital scale, packaging materials, and over $4,000 cash.
Marquez if charged with one count of possession with the intent to sell, one count of being in possession of a firearm, and one count of being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm.
The case was investigated by the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
