COLLEGEVILLE TOWNSHIP -- A Cold Spring man has been cited for inattentive driving after being involved in a two vehicle crash in Collegeville Township.

The incident happened at the intersection of Island Lake Road and County Road 160 just before 10:00 a.m. this (Monday) morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 18-year-old Andrew Mcgee, of Cold Spring was driving a Volkswagen Jetta heading north on Island Lake Road when he hit a semi-truck heading west on County Road 160, spun out of control and stopped in the middle of the road.

The driver of the semi, 62-year-old Dennis Woltman of Little Falls, was not hurt

Mcgee and his two passengers, 15-year-old Nicholas Mcgee and 13-year-old Benjamin Mcgee both of Cold Spring, were also not hurt in the crash.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the Jetta was totaled and the semi has substantial damage.

Mcgee was cited for inattentive driving.
