Cold Spring Elementary Teacher Finalist For ‘Teacher Of The Year’ [AUDIO]

COLD SPRING — A teacher from Cold Spring Elementary is a finalist for this year’s Minnesota Teacher of the Year.
Joyce Baumann is one of 10 finalists for the award presented by Education Minnesota. Baumann says she believes her focus on the students is what matters.

Baumann has been teaching for 16 years, all of them at Cold Spring elementary. She’s currently teaching kindergarten, and has also taught 5th and 2nd grades.
The 2011 Minnesota Teacher of the Year will be announced on May 1st in Brooklyn Park.
