COLD SPRING -- The Cold Spring City Council will be discussing the possibility of moving their fire department out of the City Hall building Tuesday night. Mayor Doug Schmitz says it's a topic that has been brought up multiple times over the years.

The fire department wants a space that is less congested and is easier to access. If the Fire Hall is relocated the city would reconfigure the space to better serve the needs of the library, police department, EDA and the administration.

Schmitz says the council is in the early stages of discussion and they do not have a relocation site in mind. The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
