Cold Spring Bakery Is Helping You This Christmas Season [VIDEO]

WAITE PARK - Cold Spring Bakery and its Connection location in Waite Park are helping families this Christmas season add some holiday cheer.

Both locations are offering you a chance to come in and decorate some gingerbread houses. Cold Spring Bakery's Mackenzie Nelson says they do all the hard stuff while you get to focus on the fun parts.

"The Gingerbread house is already put together, the icing is already put together, and we have the bowls of candy, sprinkles and anything you could wish for. The houses are ready for you to decorate them."

The Bakery has been offering the opportunity to decorate the gingerbread houses for a few years now. Nelson says it has even become a yearly tradition for some families.

"This is definitely a family tradition for some.  I know we have a couple girls that come to the Cold Spring location and they actually come in every year."

Cold Spring Bakery is offering the gingerbread house decorating sessions at both of its locations. Demand was so high this year that they added sessions on Thursday nights.

Cold Spring Bakery's Kristie Schlangen says they made it a lot easier to sign up for classes this year.

"This year we added the option to sign up for classes online. All you have to do is go to our website, click on the upcoming events tab and choose which location you want to register at."

The sessions happen Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting on December 1st and running through December 16th.
