Cokato Man, Annandale Woman Hurt In Crash South Of St. Augusta

ST. AUGUSTA - One person was taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 8:00 p.m. last Tuesday night on County Road 7, just north of Dellwood Road, in Fairhaven Township, about two miles south of St. Augusta.

A vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jennifer Olsen of Annandale was going south. Meanwhile, a pickup being driven by 19-year-old Dean Kivisto of Cokato was going north. Kivisto lost control of his vehicle and struck Olsen's vehicle.

Kivisto had minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital. Olsen was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

Speed and icy road conditions appear to be factors in the crash.
