Coborn’s Hosts 24th Annual Bagging Competition [VIDEO]

SAUK RAPIDS — Grocery baggers from local Coborn’s stores competed in the company’s 24th Best Bagger Competition in Sauk Rapids. Contestants were judged based on speed, style, bag building technique, weight distribution, attitude and appearance.

The winner of the competition Breanna Osendorf from St. Joseph received $100 and will also advance to the Minnesota Grocers Association’s Best Bagger contest at the Mall of America in August. She will then compete for an additional chance at the National contest in Las Vegas for a chance to win $10,000.

Since 1989, five Coborn’s baggers have advanced to the national contest.
