Clementine “Tina” M. Nelson, age 92, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Country Manor Healthcare Center, Sartell, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Cold Spring, MN.

Tina was born January 6, 1925 in Collegeville, MN to Sostene and Mary (Maile) Senart. She married Floyd F. Nelson on December 5, 1943 in St. Cloud, MN. Tina was employed as a waitress for 22 years in restaurants in the St. Cloud area. She also was a supervisor for SCSU in the salads department at Garvey Commons for 18 years. Tina was a member of the Eastside VFW 4847 Auxiliary and Whitney Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards and volunteering at the Treasure Chest.

Survivors include children, Greg (Eileen) Nelson of St. Cloud, Jeff (Cheryl) Nelson of St. Cloud, Keith (Mary Jane) Nelson of St. Cloud, and Brian Nelson of St. Cloud; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and brother, Alphonse Senart of Grand Junction, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd on March 28, 1998; twin sons, Lloyd and Floyd Nelson; brothers, Aloys and Sylvester Senart, and sisters, Caroline Habedank and Pauline Aubol.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made out to Treasure Chest.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Robert, Andrew, Corey, Jesse, Melissa, Cole, and Hanna.
