Clearwater Man Accidentally Shoots Himself

CLEARWATER - A 43-year-old Clearwater man accidentally shot himself.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says Kevin Matz was cleaning a handgun when it went off and shot him in the arm.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on Woodbine Road in Lynden Township.
