ST. CLOUD — A man wanted in a 2007 stabbing incident in Clay County has been arrested in St. Cloud.

The Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force spotted 30-year-old Terrance Jones in a vehicle Wednesday in the area of McKinley Place and 8th Street South. Police say Jones — who a member of the Gangster Disciples gang — tried to flee in his vehicle. Snow covered roads hampered his getaway and when he tried to flee on foot, officers arrested him.

Jones is being held on suspicion of fleeing police and driving after suspension.

Police are also holding Jones for Clay County authorities until he can be extradited back to Clay County to face the assault charges.
