Clarence Walter Helmin was born March 11, 1921 in Alberta Township, Benton County to Winslow and Veronica (Roketa) Helmin. He married Lucille Jenson on October 30, 1944 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley and the couple celebrated 62 years of marriage together. They farmed for many years near Princeton and Foley. Clarence spent a lot of time inventing, tinkering and could fix almost anything. He was the founder and owner of Pull-Rite Trailer Company where he built trailers and welded for many years. He also sold Sno-Jet snowmobiles and worked as a custodian for Foley High School. Clarence was very proud of his family spanning five generations.

He is survived by his children: Joan (LeRoy) Martins of Sauk Rapids, Larry "Butch" of Elk River, Debby (Russ) Andrews of St. Cloud, Tammy (Pete) Christopherson of St. Joseph; brother, Marcel of Wyoming, MN; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille; sisters, Frances Cielinski and Irene Cielinski; and brothers, Henry "Slim" and Severyn.
